Plan your outfits at least a week in advance - Don't wait the last minute, you want to wake up relaxed and prepared. Feel free to message me photos of your wardrobe if you're having a hard time choosing !
Prepare your kids - Keep things fun, lighthearted and casual. Depending on their age, they may have some poses they are excited to try, get them involve !
Brainstorm about specific props, mementos or special types of image you want captured.
And one of the most important, rest and eat good beforehand and bring snacks !

Any personal items that you might want.
Again... snacks on snacks on snacks especially for the kiddos !
A change of clothes for everyone and especially for the kids ! In case they get dirty. As a photographer I love when kids interact fully with their surroundings and I'm thrilled to photograph them playing. Leaving kids being kids is what open for amazing candid shots !
Bring your dog ! And some dog treats ;)

Dress for the weather ! We want everyone comfortable and not cooking or freezing !
Wear colors in a complimentary color palette.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can move in. This one especially for the kids ! Kids wearing something they don't like or they are not comfy in it can really make them obsessed.
Remind gentlemen to take bulky items out of the pockets ! Don't worry I will remind you this one ;)

I will guide you from the beginning to the end. Yes I will pose you at first to help you get comfortable in different poses. But really fast I will ask you to interact with each other. S trice to capture and encourage authentic expression. Laugh, play, tickle and snuggle, this is how we'll capture the REAL moments !
Stand close together, as close as possible ! Relax, slow down and don't force anything, don't feel pressured to make everything perfect, just be with your family and I'll do the rest. Don't stress if any of the kids get fussy I've seen this before. Just snuggle your kiddos and we can still capture beautiful images.
Expect me to move around you like a little drone or even to move you around to different spots. Keep moving is what makes for beautiful candids and happy kids !

After your session I will be working hard behind the scene to cull the best photos. Your gallery is typically
ready within 2 weeks of vour session.
Depending on your package. I will deliver a watermarked proofing gallery so you can select your favorites
images to keep, or upgrade your package after seeing the photos
